| Access Control |
| Recently added to Romers portfolio of services is the Access Control System. Nearly all of us have experience of Access Control and we have chosen the Bewator Cotag range of equipment as our preferred choice of system. Our sales team would be more than happy to discuss any requirements. |
| Bewator Cotag specialises in advanced hands free proximity cards, tags and readers and has developed systems using these products for access control and security management. A key to the success of a security management system is in its performance and ease of use, both critical features in the patented portfolio of products developed by Bewator Cotag since the early 1980's. |

| Intelligent Performance By Design |
Bewator Cotag sells its products through an international network of resellers and installers spanning more than 40 countries. International users include Beijing International Airport, Nortel and Barclays Bank plc. |

| Protecting People & Property
|
Bewator Cotag's unique hands free technology, based on active cards and tags, is used throughout the world by governments, corporations and health care institutions to identify employees, visitors, patients and assets. For example, businesses using Bewator Cotag's dual discrimination technology can link a laptop computer to an employee who may need to take the equipment away from the office. If any other unauthorised person attempts to leave the premises with the laptop, an alarm sounds.
| | Similarly, uncontrolled wandering can have disastrous consequences for the elderly, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease. In a nursing home in Denmark, where the temperature outside can drop well below freezing, residents wear miniature radio frequency-coded tags. Bewator Cotag controllers, installed at building exits, read the tags and alert the staff to numerous potentially threatening excursions by wandering residents each year. In hospitals, this technology is also used to help prevent infant abduction. |
Flexibilty & Compatibility Increase Usability
All Bewator Cotag cards and tags can be user programmable and are compatible with existing systems. In addition, Bewator Cotag's award-winning modular Granta system can operate in stand-alone mode or as part of a personal computer local area network. Networking expands the systems from monitoring four doors or less of a facility to controlling access at more than 2,000 doors and accommodating up to 30,000 cardholders.
The latest generation of Bewator Cotag products includes thin laminated proximity cards, which will have photo, magnetic stripe and bar code identification options.
With headquarters in Cambridge, UK, Bewator Cotag ensures quality and continuity of product through its own ISO 9002 quality-certified manufacturing facility |
