Company HistoryRomers Electronics was established by Joe Romer in 1925 and originally was located in Rishton near Blackburn where we were known as Romers of Rishton. From its office on the high Street Romers grew from strength to strength and expanded whilst keeping at the forefront of technology. We installed any type of PA system in any location required.

In 1990 when we had finally outgrown the Rishton buildings we moved from Rishton to Lower Darwen and from here we were involved in many of the sports stadia redevelopments that happened in the 1990s, including the following:
In May 2006 TG Baker (Sound) Limited purchased the stock and some of the assets from Romers and for a brief period until August 2007 employed our Managing Director Mr John Caton. They did not purchase the name or any of the company shares and there is no longer any connection with the two companies. Romers has continued to prosper and now specialises in offering Project management and Consultancy services within our fields of expertise. |
